anybody could tell if I could use acetone to dissolve the synovex pellets? and if there are any consequeces for doing so since acetone has different properties?( higher melting point, etc)

btw (i live in Holland and all efforts to acquire methanol have ended in vein! anti freeze, paint/lack shops, gas stations etc... )

Theres no chemistry stores around? you could always try mail order. I'm sure its different there, I get it at the grocery store. I'm thinking methanol is best, you may check with someone like dazed chemist with your question.

bro shit is fucked up here! weed and whores are legal but methanol is only sold to labs and industrial places! I tried to steal some from my biology lab. I had a 3 litre bottle but I got caught and they banned me from entering the lab till next september!!fuckers thought i was gonna make bomb. The teacher gave me a lecture on how I wouldda caused many deaths if that shit had just exploded. I wanted to stab his ass!

Go to google.com and type in the item your looking for. I would recomend using benzyl alcohol v.s. methanol. I am surprised spidey hasn't flamed your ass for saying you want to use methanol. I actually have used it in the past for conversion because I can get small amounts at very little cost, very easily.

There are sites on the net where you can by methanol and benzyl alcohol by the liter. I'll check back with a link if I can find it again.

Acetone, why acetone? Have you read the MSDS for acetone? People use that shit as a thinner/cleaner. It can be very harmful.

Yes, you can use acetone (buy at Kruidvat). It dissolves your syno much better than methanol. Furthermore acetone is lower in toxicity than methanol, and you can easily evaporate it off afterwards if that is what you want.

If you really want methanol, just ask a small reform house or a drugstore (not apotheek, but drogisterij). They can order it for you.

bro I need methanol for a syno conversion and it is very normal to use methanol as long as you let it evaporate fully!!!!

Acetone evaporates much easier than methanol. Use a shallow dish for evaporation (overnight is fine). It leaves the dry yellow crystals behind which can then be scraped up and dissolved in your favorite oil (with a little heating).

Acetone will work fine. As Sigmund said, it is less toxic than methanol and easier to evaporate. I would not suggest injecting anything that contains either of those two solvents however. I haven't looked into the synovex conversion kits so I don't know the procedure. Are you just dissolving out the active compounds in a solvent (like methanol or acetone) and then allowing the solvent to evaporate?

OK, I read through the procedure. It looks to me like the whole procedure was tailored around using methanol as the solvent. Acetone has different properties and may not work the same if you strictly follow the written procedure. Without some experimentation as to what changes to make, I think it would be unwise to try and substitute acetone for methanol.

Maybe you could write or email syno-kits and ask them to develop a procedure using acetone. Explain to them the dificulties of obtaining methanol in your country and suggest to them that they would get many more customers if they were to develop such a procedure. Better yet, get on a local anabolic board and ask your countrymen to all email syno-kits with this request. I'm sure they would do it for hundreds of prospective customers. You just have to make it worth their time financially.

No, I have never done a syno conversion. Spidey might be right, just use methanol then. Did you already try my suggestion:

Say you like to build model boats, and you have to clean some pieces of wood if they ask for a reason.
