Alcohol Whilst On A Cut?

I'm currently cutting following a diet which consists of 2300 Kcals per day. I'm trying to get from 20% bodyfat down to around 12%. The thing is, every week on a Wednesday I have a Poker night round at my house with some friends & we each have a few drinks. Now as I'm cutting, I strictly stick to Vodka & diet coke but usually end up having a 35cl bottle during the night.

Apparently this is around 750 Kcals per bottle therefore I'm just wondering whether or not there is any way around this. I know the general answer would most likely be "don't drink" but I'm 21 & trying to enjoy my life as much as possible without sacrificing too much fun/happiness for the sake of becoming anally obsessed with bodybuilding. I like the sport yeah, don't get me wrong, but I don't want it to control my life.

During the week I'm extremely strict with my cutting diet, making sure I follow it to an absolute 'T'. I weigh all my food with digital scales etc & it's been going alright so far, I'm not bored of it yet but I feel if I was to give up things such as enjoying myself every so often that I'd end up getting bored with it all & just give up completely in regards to cutting etc.

I'm just not sure how exactly this will affect my cutting progress & whether or not I should reduce calories during the day before drinking at night in order to stop the 750 Kcals from the vodka affecting me TOO much.

What do you guys suggest? Like I said above though, I know people will be thinking "its simple, just don't drink" but like I also explained above, I get a lot of enjoyment out of it & it's not like I'm binge drinking 5 days a week. And finally, maybe you guys can suggest an alternative alcoholic drink to vodka? I'm not sure if there is one really, I thought Vodka was the lowest calorie drink out of them all, but I could be mistaken.

ya dude if you must drink vodka is the way to go...i perfer vodka with soda water splash of cran and a lime...i dont think its gonna kill you if you have a few but if your getting shit canned then you will have an issue...whatever you do stay away from chips and dip and the other sort of crap that most people eat while drinking, that is what will you get you fat because once alcohol enters the system the body stores all extra food as fat...if i know im gonna drink i will eat a healthy meal like an hour before i drink a few and them i wont eaat at all during the 2-3 hours im having drinks, before bed ill down a protien shake...i only drink 2 times a month and its been working for me....i do agree life is short, enjy yourself bro just do it in moderation

Answered 90% of your own question there. If i were you monitor your results and if your going the right direction happy days.
 
Hop on the treadmill on a thursday for 750 calories. Mega dose on the BCAA if you do that though, dont want to be losing too much muscle now do we.
