Advice on Anavar

Hey fellas, been hanging around this forum for a while but this is my first post. I am 23, 175cm (roughly 5ft 8 i think) and 82kg (180lbs). I am in the military and train twice a day every day, I don't eat very clean because I can't take in enough calories otherwise...
Alright, now my issue is that I am often away a lot, anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.. When I return I have always lost a dramatic amount of strength and have to basically start over again.. As I know you all would appreciate this is very frustrating to say the least..
Previously I have tried using Test E but the cycle lengths are too long for me to be able to sustain as I cant inject while on exercise (obviously this can be dangerous when test shuts down etc). Also when I injected test i often found I had very painful calf and back pumps that made cardio impossible and also if I injected into my quad it would become very stiff (like i corked it) and i wouldn't be able to run (obviously counter productive)

I do a lot of functional exercise based around making me a better soldier, I'm not into bodybuilding and putting on size I am only interested in becoming stronger and more functional - which is what led me to Anavar... HOWEVER I have read a lot of comments by many people saying not to use Anavar alone...

What I am looking for guys is your opinions on whether I can make Anavar work for me without the use of Test or any other injectibles.. If you have any other questions of me feel free to throw them at me.. your time and opinions are greatly appreciated..

your too young in my opinion to be cycling. at your age your test should be raging. I wish i was back at your age and lifting. anyways with your training schedule, your diet, and your goals...anavar wouldn't do anything for you. with what you are trying to accomplish and to attain I really feel like taking the Sarms1 triple stack protocol is probably the best thing for you. I hear it does wonders and if you have any questions regarding Sarms you def go to the thread and ask your questions to dylan. Don't cycle bro not at your age.

If you are unable to eat correctly or stay consistent with training, steroids of any kind are not an option for you.

You need to be in a situation where you take this lifestyle seriously for a good length of time before going anywhere near AAS. Steroids are not a substitute for hard work

You are aware of your problem with not eating correctly and missing long lengths of gym time. Fix those and that will give you the results you are after.

Thanks for the advice guys, appreciate it, I'll have a look into the SARMS broscience.
@RickRock - It's not that I don't take it seriously.. I take my training very seriously and I train very hard which is why I need something to help me keep going and not burn out and to help give me the strength gains I want in between Field Exercises (A way of going 2 steps forward before I'm forced to take one step back).. In Australia our Army is a little different.. My pack will always weigh 60kg+ and we walk EVERYWHERE.. It is not unusual for me to lose 5-8kg in 1-2 weeks.. I hope you understand my dilemma for what it is (not a lack of good training, commitment etc..)My diet is the way it is because I expend ~20,000KJ a day..
EDIT
- Regardless, I appreciate your opinion.

Training and dieting will do this NOT aas

Taken on board... I'll forget about AAS for now and just use a test booster to counter the drop from training. Thanks for advice everyone.
