A thought on Marty Brodeur breaking the wns record

So even though I'd almost rather be deaf then listen to Chico Resch do a game, I watched the end of the Devils game last night to see Brodeur break the wins record.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought the Blackhawks could have stayed out there for a few minutes and acknowledged the accomplishment.

The Sabres did it with Mark Messier's last game a few years ago (and it wasn't even known if he would retire @ that point)

No big deal I guess, I'd still take Patrick Roy anyway
