A QUICK rant ...

I am now 100% this is the one and only bodybuilding fitness board......bros on this board know there shit....bulk up right, cut up right, usually are pretty well informed and dont get fed up with some youngns who have basic questions......I've been through them all.....some boards are extremely entertraining....one I know of has prob. 90% teens on it who talk about oats, how much food they consume in one sitting, and still are trying to figure out the perfect food...

Another is lead by a formed member here "diet guru" who's name rymes with bat and will only offer up free critisism....charges for a living, which is understandable, but offers no solid advice. There BIG BIG thing on that boat is macro sepearation.......which I do agree with, somewhat.......

Training, this board could use a little help and same with diet....some very very intelligent bros here, but the training section has turned into 5x5 power training.....not so much bbing, but good intense training none the less.....

Diet, is 90% cutting and dropping fat.....on this board........we need more bulking up advice and people who have worked well at it......

We need people like NEEDSIZE, RADAR, SATCH, etc...to move to the training and diet boards and help there too....you guys are the leaders here.......it's winter time, some of us need your help...

The final piece we need is a Disease forum......disease such as depression, anorexic, bolemic, obesity, etc...you'd be surprised how many have it and ways to cope would be key.....

OK LAST ONE.............LET NON PLATS USE THE FREAKING BASIC SEARCH FUNCTION DAMN IT..............FINE, NO PICS, ETC....BUT IT WOULD COULD DONE ON MANY "STUPID, REDUNDANT QUESTIONS" AS WELL AS BE A VALUABLE TOOL............PLEASSSSSSSE!

Since i'm not limited here maybe i do need to frequent that area more often.

5'8" 230lbs BF % can't remembers back then as that was 4 yrs ago ,right not i'm probably 10% i blame it on the holidays...lol!

I used to live in the training forum, but just dont have as much time as I used to. And to be honest, my training knowlege isnt quite what I thought it was, I have done fairly well up till this point on my own, but I have also realized that there are approaches that I knew nothing about, and am trying them out now
 
Good post Kurz...I can agree with alot of your points especially the "search" function..this would help alot...I think it depends on where the individual is at the moment...if he is looking to shed down he may spend alot more time in the diet board...i know i have...or the training board...i guess it depends on the goals...
 
radar - cmon bro..10%%?? Thats another prob. many on these boards have.....failing to understand mass compisition...now, trust me, ive seen your pics and know you were once that lean? but now????

fuck, im 8% and its hell watching every morsel of food to stay here......I need to be up around 10-15% and happy.......
 
I'm never happy over 10%. I just went above it last week and I am already getting lazy... its sucks!

Needsize. Throw us a bone. What stuff have you recently learned that we would'nt think of to do before. You haven a leader in the training forum, I'm sure many of us would want to pick your brain a little more.

Well, when it starts to ruin your life and going out, soicalizing, eating events, drinking, you have the start of what I had = anorexia.......for now, I'd much rather be big and strong....seriously.....no way fat, but big and strong....it's very easy to be a weak 6% bf.....go look downtown on the corners.....drunk are easiy 7-8%......abs are overated unless you are PAID or it''s your career...plain and simple.

Maybe we can have a stciky about all sorts of questions....and answers. Not just that board's topic.......

For example: What is everyone post-workout drink of choice? Best results?

needsize hows that new trainer working out?
also i do think if non plats could search it would safe everyone a lot of hassel
 
The search function is the one thing that kills me about this board. I have to go to ology to do a search. Not that I don't like it over there but I like it here better.
 
Those are good observations bro. I woudn't even call it a rant. I agree with everything except the Disease Forum. With the possible exception of obesity, this board isn't the place to get medical advice...unless it relates directly to steroids. The diet forum here is a joke. Thats amazing considering that diet is one of the most important parts of bodybuilding. All the vets know that and many of the newbies don't seem to...

AH , THE 5'8 CLUB.
I'm a member too, so is Emmit Smith and he's done pretty good too.
I'm only 188lb right now but over the past 12 months I've went from a 210lb Mclard ass couch potato to a lean168lb and now I'm back up to about 185lb w/ about 12% BF.

I've said it before but I cant say it enough, I owe it all to RADAR ande ELITE.

i think he could easily be 10, that's not that super lean bro. i'm at 6.7, i usually am around 5 year round. if i was at 10 i would feel fat..

i thought i was the only short one here.. well actually 5 7and a HALF !!
but i think i remember that needsize is only 5 8 also

you guys must really look jacked !! at 151lbs i looked freakish ( i was also down around 4.5percent) but only for a few months...
 
The difference between what I normally do, and Laura's routines is constant variety. I used to stick to the same stuff, but aimed to be stronger every week, growing through progressive resistance. Her exercises, and rep schemes change every workout, in such a way that you never get used to it, and just keep growing. I have never been this sore from anything before, by the end of the first week every muscle group in my body felt crippled.....I loved it
The training days change, depending on the routine you are on, 5, 4, and 3 day a week training, and cycled so that you just keep growing

the rant has been over and was never really a rant....you're right bro, let's just sweep these issues under the rug and keep bumping some "how effect is glucorell r" or "thermo. is on sale this week" threads...........

Oh, and by the way....no matter how much we clash bro, I think you're a good dude and the supps you sponsor are top quality.......like this thread was meant to be, this board and the dudes here are top top notch......event though we differ, i'ts all good in the end...we need a big ass meetup.....
 
Its a good thread brings up some interesting points...but...

You have alot to say about what we need...you seem to know your stuf....
not to try to sound like an asshole but why dont you take some insentive and to start some threads outlining what your purpose is of the thread...Starting a good data base of training rutines...and dieting...etc.

exactly right about the search..limiting our basic functions won't give people the urge to sign up..other than the fact that it's way too expensive.

Word!!!! Great post this is they most important thing with out a doubt it sure would cut down on the can I drink winny on the AAS board. On the womans board cut down on the I just want to tone up and not get bulky oh god if I see that one more time :evil: I am outta K I will hit you back when I reload.
