Hi all,

Newbie here to the forums. I stumbled upon them a couple weeks ago and have been lurking. I've found a lot of great info so far, but was wondering of someone could give me some advise. I'll try to make it short and sweet.

I used to be around 180lbs or so. I started doing crossfit, and went on a low carb/highj protein diet. It worked fabulous, and I lost about 20 lbs so I am hovering around 160 now. Problem is, I think it worked too good. Most of the 20 lbs was all body fat(I have the traditional hourglass figure) but I lost some muscle in there to. I have a somewhat flat stomach now, which I have never had before, since genetically, I am a large person. I've just been keeping weight off for about 10 years or so.

What I have been doing now is still Crossfit on 3on/1 off cycle. Plus, on workout days, I take one bodypart, pick an exercise, and do 6 sets of 5 reps to try to put some mass back on. Also, every couple of days, I'll run 3-3 miles at a fast pace. I've been following a 40P/40C/20F ratio and have been taking in anywhere inbetween 2000-2500 calories.

I am going to stick with crossfit, because I am honestly n the best shape of my life now, and my job calls for me to be in shape. Plus, betwenn work and family, I am in the gym for a minimal amount of time, which helps.

My question.....I want the best of both worlds. A flat stomach and to put some mass back on. (The guys at my station keep telling me I look sick). I know that is hard to do. What would you guys suggest for caloric intake and ratio? I was thinking of upping my calories to 3000 and trying a 50/30/20 ratio. Reason for the low carb ratio is like I said, my stomach is pretty flat right now, and even though I am trying to put a little mass on, I would like to keep it that way. But, on the other hand, Crossfit is such high intensity, I may be okay to add extra carbs??? Like I said, I like my new flat stomach(and so does my wife) Thanks in advance for the help with the calorie advice!
