How embarrassing to have your gender questioned in front of the world like that. I am STILL MORTIFIED to this day that my gender was questioned when I was a kid (fat kid, real short hair, poor parents so I often wore my older brother's hand-me-downs).

I was thinking about how humiliating it would be too. The thing is, people have faked their sex before.

If she is a she then I hope she wins the gold and gets the last laugh.

ditto, but thats a pretty rough/prominent brow ridge....maybe a hormonal disorder?
serious dedication/athleticism is one thing but the body proportions just seem.....off

It could be a hormonal problem or something else. I wonder what they test for? She could have been born with both and had the penis removed. I bet that would make her test positive for being a male but that would also make her 100% female in my mind.

The article said they were looking at the chromosomes not hormones, which might play a factor in her speed in the woman's division.
