Texans looking for first win, take on Steelers

The Houston Texans look to rebound from a 22-7 loss to Buffalo Sunday, when they host Pittsburgh.

Sporting a 0-1 overall record and a 0-0 mark within the division, the Texans aim to knock the Steelers (0-0 in the division) for a loss.

The Steelers are road favorites, opening as 4-point chalk, with an opening total of 37.5. They are 1-0 ATS this season and 1-0 OU. The Texans are 0-1 ATS and are 1-0 OU.

Bill Cowher's troops hosted Tennessee last game and came away with a 34-7 win, a game that went over 40. Oddsmakers had them as 7-point favorites in that one.

After scoring just 7 points in a loss against Buffalo, Dom Capers needs more production from his offence. If the aerial and ground assaults falter again, don't expect many over players Sunday.

You can't expect much in the way of offensive fireworks from Houston. Saddled with the 31st-ranked offence and averaging just 7.0 PPG, the Texans' offence needs to give its defensive unit some help Sunday in order to have a chance against the Steelers.
