Sanford Stadium has a Week 1 contest on tap for Saturday as the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Georgia Bulldogs play their season openers.

Oddsmakers currently have the Bulldogs listed as 6½-point favorites versus the Cowboys, while the game's total is sitting at 56.

Oklahoma State has some swagger left from a year ago, when they defeated Alabama 34-31 in the Independence Bowl after compiling just a 7-6 record.

Georgia will be a big favorite in a lot of games this year. The Bulldogs went 8-4 in the regular season in 2006 and defeated Virginia Tech 31-24 in the Chick-Fil-A-Bowl.

2006 team records:
Oklahoma State: 7-6 SU, 6-5-1 ATS
Georgia: 9-4 SU, 6-6 ATS

UGA could easily get off to a slow start and have to come back for the close win. I still have to go big on my Dogs out of principle.
