- The Atlanta Braves and the Florida Marlins will meet on the field at Dolphin Stadium on Tuesday in a battle of division rivals.

The Braves will trot Buddy Carlyle out to the mound in this one. Righthander Carlyle has a 7-5 record and a 5.06 ERA this season.

It'll be Rick Vanden Hurk toeing the rubber for the Marlins in this contest. Righthander Vanden Hurk is 4-4 with a 6.92 ERA so far this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Braves listed as 130-moneyline favorites versus the Marlins, while the game's total has not yet been posted.

Brian McCann belted a grand slam to help propel the Braves in Monday's 13-2 win at Florida. The Braves won the game as +110 underdogs, and the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10.5).

Matt Diaz went deep for a two-run shot, and finished 4-for-6 at the plate. Lance Cormier whiffed five batters over seven innings, allowing just two runs in picking up the victory.

Dan Uggla had three hits, including a solo homer and scored on a wild pitch for the Marlins. Scott Olsen was rocked for 11 hits and 10 runs over four innings to suffer the loss.
