hard to get an edge
the only edge i figure is to take a high home favorite and bet one run
home team scores in the bottom of the 9th to win it ends
unless a walk-off 2 run homer or better
and about 25% of the games are decided by one run in a season

just take the favorite
consider it a bonus if they are the home team
