Yes Hammymaing it's a run spread, it makes for better odds. There is usually 1 favorite along with a 2:1 shot. Sometimes (like today's Met vs Yank game) it makes for even odds.

it doesnt matter to me, its just that i have never seen a game with a spread where both teams werent at 10/11 odds
the spread is there to even the teams out so to speak
so the odds go to 10/11 on both sides, the 11 is the juice for the bookie

I feel ya Hammy, but I'm actually going by odds set from an online betting system.
