Not sure whether I should have posted this here or in the cycle section. My apologies if this is in the wrong place.
38, 5'11, fluctuate between 185-195 when not training. Back in the gym after a good while away from training. I am following an HST based routine (m-w-f). My old routine was kind of a three day split (chest shoulders & tris - Back & Bis - legs - do it again, then day off) so the three day a week routine is brand new to me.
On my first cycle and I am digging it. Week 5 of 10 week cycle of 400mgs/week test testosterone cypionate, 50mgs/day DHEA, 6iu human growth hormone - somatropin - /week, 500mgs/week HCG (courtesy of my local anti-aging clinic).
Diet is not very sophisticated (don't have the time or expertise to be sure that I am balancing six meals a day calories/carbs/protein, etc). Instead, I am trying to eating as clean as I can and as much as I can stand (lean proteins such as boiled eggs, tuna, chicken, steaks, lean pork chops etc., oatmeal & fruit for breakfast/preworkout)...plus two to three protein shakes per day, multi V, fish oil, BCAA, creatine & drinking tons of H2O.
Making decent muscle gains (so far), but obviously I gaining some fat too. Can't really complain about gaining between 20 and 30 lbs (depends on where you start me from) in 5 weeks!! Am I right that I shouldn't worry too much about the fat because if I want to make the most out of my relatively light first cycle, I can't worry about being lean right now. I can always cut later, right? Also HST and many knowledgeable people here seriously emphasize the importance of rest days...on my off days can I do 40-50 mins walking on the treadmill plus abs an calves w/o damaging my growth on rest days? Thanks, bros.
