but why not use a barbell instead of the smith?
and i'm not implying this is you...but i see a lot of bros using the leg press (as opposed to squat rack) so they can look bad ass stacking 10 plates on each side...they could save themselves the effort of plate loading that much and free weight squat with 225 for a better effect.
think the same is true for pressing?

LOL, I know what you are saying. I mostly do dumbells and one day I though fuck I wonder what my max is. I didn't have a spotter because I don't have any friends. So I did it in the smith. Then I set a goal to do 315 in a short period of time. I did my goal. End of story.
My leg press max is more than 10 plates!

And honestly I don't think I am bad ass in fact I am not really happy with my size or strenth right now. Thus you never see me post pics of my body. So all I can do is just keep hitting the gym.
