- The Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees will both be gunning for a victory on Friday when they meet at Yankee Stadium.

The Mariners were upset 8-7 by the Red Sox at Fenway Park Thursday as +200 underdogs. The 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Jose Guillen was 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Mariners. Chris Reitsma surrendered the winning run in relief to take the loss.

New York won both games of a double-header with a 5-2 win in Game 2 Thursday night over Texas. New York won the game as -155 favorites, while the seven runs were UNDER the posted over/under (11).

Derek Jeter led New York with two RBI, and finished 3-for-5 at the plate. Mike Mussina pitched five innings for the win, while Mariano Rivera came in to close out the win.
