- The Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles will both be trying to pick up a win on Friday when they battle at Camden Yards.

The Indians will give the ball to starter Paul Byrd in this one. Righthander Byrd is 2-1 this season with a 4.50 ERA.

The Orioles will counter Byrd with ace Erik Bedard. Lefthander Bedard has a 6.09 ERA to go along with a 3-2 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Orioles listed as 115-moneyline favorites versus the Indians, while the game's total has not yet been posted.

The Indians scored a tying-breaking run in the eighth inning as they dumped the Blue Jays 6-5 Thursday night to completed a three-game sweep. The Blue Jays won the game as -155 favorites at home, while the 11 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10).

Victor Martinez was 4-for-4 with two RBI for the Indians. Aaron Fultz improved to (3-0) with the win in relief, while Joe Borowski notched his tenth save.

The Orioles were edged 3-2 last time out by the Tigers as +150 underdogs at Comerica Park. The five runs were well UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Jay Payton was 1-for-4 with one RBI for the Orioles, who have lost five of their last six outings. Steve Trachsel allowed three runs over seven innings to suffer the loss.

Orioles 3, Indians 2

Casey Blake hit a two-run home run in the fifth to give the Indians a temporary lead, but Rafael Betancourt allowed the Orioles to tie the game in the eighth. Tom Mastny couldn't record an out in the 10th, as the Tribe's four-game win streak was halted.
