PIT: Duke(1-2, 4.50 ERA)
CHC: Guzman(0-0, 5.40 ERA)

CHICAGO (Ticker) - In his brief major league career, Zach Duke has had tremendous success against the Chicago Cubs.

Duke tries to remain undefeated against the Cubs on Tuesday as the Pittsburgh Pirates look to salvage a split of their two-game series.

A 23-year-old lefthander, Duke (1-2, 4.50 ERA) has won all three of his starts and posted an 0.78 ERA against the Cubs, including a pair of wins against Greg Maddux last season. He did not get a decision Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals after giving up three runs and eight hits in six innings.

Chicago calls upon Angel Guzman (0-0, 5.40), who makes his second big-league appearance. In his debut against Florida on Wednesday, he surrendered three runs and six hits in five innings.

Matt Murton's RBI single in the eighth inning snapped a tie and the Cubs held the Pirates to just four hits in Monday's 2-1 victory.

Former Pirate Aramis Ramirez has had plenty of success against his former team, batting .316 with 13 homers and 33 RBI in 38 games.

I got solid odds on this one.
