4on/3off Split-Am I Doing Too much or Not Enough???

MrGuns

New member
Im trying to shed 50lbs of fat...
I have unlimited time on sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday...thursday through saturday cardio only. Despite all that I think I know... I am quite unsure of my plan of attack lately. I have been doing am fasted cardio all week. Weights around 2pm...
My training usually lasts about ann hour to 90 minutes max......im torn between various angles, movements with tons of volume or I go back to an 8-12 reps\9-12sets per bp heavier style....
Am I confusing the shit out of.my body in a.bad way by instinctively training....? again fat loss is my concern...
Cardio is either 45mins 125-145bpm
Or 30mins 130-150 bpm

Fasted

Diet is 2000-2500 cLs depending on the day

im averaging 250-275g protein
200-225 carbs
60 or so fats

I can post exact meals.if.necessary
Am I eating too much?
Help!

diet is the #1 thing. but you also have to lead an active lifestyle especially as you age and metabolism slows.

yes please post your exact foods you eat. lets see what we can swap in and out.. be honest there is no right or wrong answer.

what i'm gonna do is separate foods that slow your metabolism from foods that speed it up. you may not like the diet i put you on, and a lot of people quit on it.. but if you stick with it you will end up a happy man. and you can slowly start re-introducing those foods you were eating before.

ThTs what i want someone that knows what they are doing

Cardio day
Pre cardio:1 scoop dymatize isolate
Post cardio: 1 scoop again

2slices ezekiel bread&6 egg whites

6oz cooked 93/7 ground turkey
Half bag of frozen spinach

Same meal 3hrs later

Dinner:10oz fish and veggies or 7oz beef or 8oz chicken
Squash,greens etc..

Training day same except add :
3/4 cup oats/2 more scoops dymatize isolate

Meal 2 has 1cup brown rice

Meal 3 same or less rice depending on workout

Meal 4 is generally 8-10oz fish or chicken sometimes lean beef 2x a week...
Protein powder and nat pb or

Whole Almonds 1-2oz a day

Condiments mustard, vinegar and sea salt.ocassional red hot

Lots of water and watered down.crystal light

its good but I want you to lose the crystal light and lose the dymatize.

swap in a raw sweet potato pre workout instead. 90M before cardio, and 10 minutes before weight training.. post workout baked chicken/brown rice/green veggies

before bed organic sleepytime green tea with watermelon which will cleanse you all night.

only other concern i have is the ground turkey. ground meats are junk protein, would rather see you eat some baked oily fish instead

the ezekial bread blows away conventional bread, but i would still eliminate it.. or reduce it to 1 slice a day

Ok so im going to try to organize this

But what do you mean raw, like literally raw? F that...i hope you meant cooked.lol...and alone each time? Oz eaCh time?
And ive ha every succces previously using sp's....but I need yo see it laid outvin ounces and times...

i eat it raw. cook it if you want.. doesn't really matter, just don't overcook it and burn away the vitamins from it

don't worry about ounces and times.. eat every 2 hours. its WHAT you eat, not how much. you will NEVER EVER get fat off sweet potatoes and brown rice.. and they are both tons of carbs. but you will get fat off mcdonals and pizza hut. get it?

This is not true, i agree calories are not calories, but if you eat more calorie than your body needs it will turn to fat, wether its sweet potato or white bread, all carbohydrates will turn to sugar inside the body, the differnece is how fast they will turn to sugar, sweet potatoes and brown rice wont spike insulin as fast as bread or other bleached flour, thats why they are recommended..
I always eat sweet potatoe, brown rice, oats for carbs and they difinetly made me fat, not because they are bad but because i consumed way too much of them..

Sweet potatoes, oats and brown rice are still the best carb source, Basmati white rice is good too only if your doing a clean bulk..
