Hi all,

Im contemplating my first cycle, researched loads but still questions before I commit. Like most on here I am addicted to gains and body change but noticed over last year everything seems to have slowed down.

Any advise on gains expected, first cycle, PCT and advise is much appreciated, now about me.

Male, 44, 5ft 7, 86kg, lifting 5 years ish, diet changed recently in last 3 months before that just clean.

Train 4 nights a week, 2 on 1 off 2 on

Day 1 Chest
Day 2 Back
Day 3 off
Day 4 Shoulders/legs
Day 5 Arms

Mix in abs and cardio

Sample diet

Meal 1
4 eggs, 2 bacon, onions, peppers

Meal 2
200g lean meat, salad of choice, ½ avocado

Meal 3
200g lean meat, salad of choice, ½ avocado

Meal 4
2 scoops whey, 50g oats

Train here

PWO – only on days trained

2 scoops whey
200g 0% greek yoghurt
75g haribo
10g creatine

Meal 5
200g lean meat
200g potato/125g rice
Veg of choice

Meal 6
1 scoop whey
30g peanut butter

5-6 litres water per day
Multivit
2g vit c
L Glutomine

As mentioned above not noticing any changes and strength seems to also of stopped gains, try to alternate workouts every 3 weeks.

Have you ever had bloods done to check your test levels? That's always the best first step.
Also what is your bf%?

^^^ Agreed...that's a good starting point. I'm about 2 years younger than you & at this stage of the game I make sure blood work is in line.

Your diet needs help; eliminate the bacon and avocado (I love avocado and I know it's good fat but not every day...dump it)

I'd also suggest replacing 2 of those shakes with solid food. Shakes are a good solution in an emergency, but better to have solid food. Salmon or tilapia are great choices.

Maybe you can keep that last meal as 2 scoops of whey. Make sure you're using NATURAL peanut butter or even sub with almond butter.

For the love of God drop Haribo

I'd also increase your water intake to 2 gallons minimum. For men (especially our age) this is essential. I use Crystal Light and can easily put away 3.5 gallons a day. Wal*Mart has a good one too:
