4 Week Ckd Results!

First of all I'd like to thank Mr. X and many others that helped me educate myself on properly executing a CKD diet. Many of you have requested information on results of the CKD diet that has been discussed on here so here it is:

On July 12th I started a very strict CKD diet utilizing the formulas that were provided by Mr. X. My stats at that time were:

Weight: 184
Bodyfat: 12.8%
Fat: 23.5
Muscle: 160.5

Here are my current stats:

Weight: 176
Bodyfat: 9.3%
Fat: 16.5
Muscle: 159.5

The last 2 weeks I slacked off and didn't even hit ketosis at all, but it seems like the fat shed just as easily ... I'm surprised but I can't complain. I'm going back to discipline myself for another week or two to shed a few more pounds (and hopefully get down to 6-7%)

Here's my results:

CKD Duration: Approx 4 weeks
Weight Loss: 8 Pounds
Bodyfat Reduction: 3.5%
Fat Loss: 7 Pounds
Muscle Loss: 1 Pound
Average Fat Loss Rate: 2 Pounds/week

Cardio was done 3x a week using a heart rate monitor at 65% of Max for 30-40 Minute sessions.

Thanks again for all the support. This is the first time i've dropped below 12% and I can't tell you how great it feels to finally see some ripped abs.

Mustard: I was planning on doing it for 2 more weeks, but I'm really feeling scrawny now that I've lost all the bulk (even tho it was fat and water). Ripped and looking good with the shirt off, but now my old shirts are baggy and stretched out! I want to fill them once again.

I'm switching over to a clean high protein gainer diet with 1 gram protein per lb, medium carbs, low fat, etc. for the next 2-3 months to see if I can put on a little more muscle mass and get into good shape before I start hunting down some anabolics for a bulking cycle in winter.

I did a bulking cycle last year around this time but I started off with 20% bodyfat (I'm an endomorph) and took the advice of a few people on here and did the whole "eat everything in sight" so I loaded up on cheeseburgers and ended up putting on more fat than muscle and shot my bodyfat probably up to 25-30% (Top weight of 225). Now i'm lean at 175 and I'm going to do it right, now that I've learned how my body handles food. This time I'm going to bulk using mainly chicken, tuna, whey, and lots of lean steak along with other clean sources of protein and carbs. I figure I'll do the math this time.

One thing i've learned that I'll share with every newbie out there is that if you don't plan it out and put some effort into writing things down and keeping track of exactly what your doing, you'll never get 100% results... random training/eating = random results.

dball-

I'm looking into cutting down my body fat for the next month or two before I start bulking up. Can you give a little more insight to your diet? What did you eat? Just curious.

DaveNY:

Just do a search on CKD and you'll find a lot of information in this forum. I believe Mr. X posted a URL to a site where he posted a lot of his info/formulas.
