Miroslav Satan, Alexei Yashin, Richard Park and Tom Poti scored for New York, while Wade Dubielewicz stopped 28 shots for the Islanders.
The Devils downed the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 Thursday night to clinch the Atlantic division. New Jersey won the game on the road as -240 favorites, and the five goals were a PUSH against the posted over/under (5).
Jamie Langenbrunner and Sergei Brylin scored on the power play, and Jim Dowd scored the winner shorthanded. Martin Brodeur made 34 saves in the win.
