It's been 20 years since the Kansas Jayhawks won the national title. It's been three years for North Carolina. One of these No. 1 seeds will get a chance to win again Saturday when they battle at Alamodome.

Kansas has not yet hit its full stride, but has won with balanced scoring and depth. UNC hasn't really been tested yet, in what could be a mirror of a 1957 3-OT tournament game between these schools. It should be the best game of the tournament.

Oddsmakers currently have the Tar Heels listed as 4-point favorites versus the Jayhawks, while the game's total is sitting at 160.

The Jayhawks defeated Davidson 59-57 as a 10-point favorite in the Elite 8 on Sunday. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (147).

Mario Chalmers and Sasha Kaun each netted 13 points for Kansas, while Brandon Rush added 12 points in the win.

North Carolina defeated Louisville 83-73 in the Elite 8 on Saturday. North Carolina covered the 6-point spread, while the combined 156 points made it OVER the posted total of 155.

Tyler Hansbrough led the way with a game-high 28 points and Wayne Ellington added 13 in the win.

Team records:
Kansas: 35-3 SU, 19-15-2 ATS
North Carolina: 36-2 SU, 24-10-1 ATS

Spart, without any n00b comments, in a nutshell, how does this work?
