- The division rival Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates are set to renew hostilities on Sunday when they meet at PNC Park.

Ace Aaron Harang will be the starting pitcher for the Reds on this day. Righthander Harang is 3-0 this season with a 3.86 ERA.

The Pirates will counter Harang with Paul Maholm. Lefthander Maholm has a 3.96 ERA to go along with a 1-2 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Pirates listed as 110-moneyline favorites versus the Reds, while the game's total has not yet been posted.

Jeff Conine drove in three runs as Cincinnati pounded Pittsburgh 8-1 Saturday in the middle-game of a three-game series. Cincinnati won the game at as +140 underdogs, and the nine runs were OVER the posted over/under (8).

Conine finished 3-for-5 at the plate, while Ryan Freel had two hits and scored twice. Matt Belisle went the distance, allowing just one run off five hits for his third victory.

Pittsburgh managed just five hits in the loss to Cincinnati as -155 favorites.

Chris Duffy drove in the only run, and Tom Gorzelanny took the loss, giving up five runs off eight hits over six innings.
 
Reds 9, Pirates 5

Suddenly, Cincinnati's lineup has come to life. After scoring eight runs in the previous day's victory, the Adam Dunn-powered Reds mustered nine runs Sunday as Cincinnati won its first series in two weeks. Dunn belted a two-run homer, his second long ball of the series, to help the Reds improve to 3-3 during their nine-game road trip.
