"At this point, all of us have presented so many different opinions and scenarios that it's hard to determine what is even remotely accurate.
With so much uncertainty in the upper tier of the draft, more than I can remember in quite a long time, it's hard to find a whole lot of conviction behind the analysis. Is Russell, the quarterback who has a much stronger and supposedly more accurate arm, a slam-dunk as the top pick? Hardly. How about Johnson? Maybe, but he could easily slip to No. 4 to Tampa Bay (which, incidentally, could easily decide to select Brady in that spot). Peterson figures to be somewhere in that top three or top five. And, oh yes, how about Joe Thomas, the highly talented offensive tackle from Wisconsin?
To say the least, it's confusing."
