Patrick Rissmiller scored in double overtime to give the Sharks a 5-4 win over the Predators Wednesday night in Game 1 of their Western Conference quarterfinal. San Jose won the game on the road as +115 underdogs, and the nine goals sailed OVER the posted over/under (5.5).
Matt Carle, Mike Grier, Craig Rivet and Milan Michalek scored in regulation and Evgeni Nabakov made 39 saves for the win.
Alexander Radulov and J.P. Dumont each had a pair of goals for Nashville, and Tomas Vokoun stopped 33 shots in the loss. Nashville entered that game favored at -140.
