SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - Gilbert Arenas looks to help the Washington Wizards snap an eight-game road losing streak against the Sacramento Kings when the teams conclude their season series Tuesday.

After scoring just 17 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, Arenas reached the 40-point mark for the ninth time this season to lead the Wizards in Monday's 116-98 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Arenas tied a season high with seven 3-pointers and added 10 assists for Washington, which is in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, one game ahead of Indiana and 1 1/2 ahead of Milwaukee.

Sacramento has held its last nine opponents to fewer than 100 points and has has won 14 of its last 15 home games. The Kings are eighth in the West, two games ahead of Utah for the final playoff berth.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 24 points and Mike Bibby added 22 for the Kings, who shot just 36 percent (30-of-84) in Sunday's 90-83 loss to the Warriors.

Washington posted a 117-107 victory over the Kings in their earlier meeting March 5 and is trying to win at Sacramento for the first time since December 19, 1996.
