Seattle (28-41) at Memphis (41-29) 8:00 pm EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to reach a pair of significant milestones against a team they have handled easily this season.

The Grizzlies can match the franchise record with their eighth consecutive victory and complete their first season series sweep over the Seattle SuperSonics when the teams meet Tuesday.

Attempting to equal a winning streak set January 11-25, 2004, Memphis has limited Seattle to an average of 79.7 points in their three encounters. That's a far cry from past seasons, when Seattle took 33 of the first 38 meetings with the Grizzlies.

The league's stingiest defense (88.5), the Grizzlies are in sixth place in the Western Conference, one-half game behind the Los Angeles Clippers.

Reigning Western Conference Player of the Week Pau Gasol scored 33 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Mike Miller added 20 for Memphis in Sunday's 102-95 win over the New Jersey Nets.

Last in defense (106.3), Seattle has dropped 16 of 20 on the road. However, the SuperSonics have won their last three at home and are 17-3 at home against Memphis.

Ray Allen scored 33 points and Luke Ridnour added 19 for Seattle, which won for the third time in five games with Sunday's 106-102 triumph over the San Antonio Spurs.

Gasol recorded his first career triple-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists as Memphis posted a 99-74 victory over Seattle in their last encounter March 8
