Milwaukee (34-34) at LA Lakers (36-34) 10:30 pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Looking to add some breathing room in their playoff push, the Los Angeles Lakers are more than happy to see the Milwaukee Bucks once again.

The Lakers go for their 10th consecutive win over the Bucks and 19th in their last 21 encounters when the teams conclude their season series Friday.

With three victories in their last five contests, the Lakers are in seventh place in the Western Conference, one game ahead of Sacramento and two in front of fading New Orleans.

Kobe Bryant scored 28 points and Kwame Brown added a season-high 21 with 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season for the Lakers in Wednesday's 87-80 triumph over the Kings.

Wrapping up a three-game road trip, the Bucks have taken four of their last six and are seventh in the East, one game in back of Indiana and 1 1/2 games in front of Philadelphia.

Michael Redd scored 26 points and led six players in double figures for Milwaukee in Wednesday's 114-105 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics.

The Bucks have dropped 12 of their last 13 road games against the Lakers and are 1-7 against the Pacific Division this season.
