Philadelphia (36-20-10) at Tampa Bay (34-28-4) 7:30 pm EST
TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- In their quest to win the Atlantic Division title, the Philadelphia Flyers have some unfinished business to deal with.
The Flyers try for just their fourth win in their last 10 contests Friday in their final meeting of the season against the defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning.
Philadelphia trails the New York Rangers by two points for first place in the division race and is fifth in the Eastern Conference, six points in front of New Jersey.
However, the Flyers have dropped all three meetings to the Lightning this season, including a 6-0 loss January 28. Tampa Bay also swept the four regular season matchups in 2003-2004 and ousted Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference final.
Simon Gagne scored his 39th tally and R.J. Umberger added a goal and an assist for the Flyers in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over the Florida Panthers. Robert Esche made 27 saves for his first shutout of the season.
The Lightning have dropped six of eight and are clinging to seventh place in the East with a one-point edge over Montreal.
Vincent Lecavalier scored twice and Vaclav Prospal added two assists for Tampa Bay, which failed to hold a two-goal lead in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
