Purdue is about to find out how good or bad the Arizona Wildcats can be. Pegged by some to be a major bracket-busting 8-seed, the Wildcats can also look ordinary, as they did in losing in the Pac 10 quarter-finals.

The fans at New Orleans Arena get to see for themselves on Friday for the first round of the NCAA Tournament's Midwest Region.

Oddsmakers currently have the Wildcats listed as 3-point favorites versus the Boilermakers, while the game's total is sitting at 137.

Purdue shot 36.4% from the floor in Saturday's 63-52 loss to Ohio State in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament, falling as 6.5-point road underdogs. The 115 combined points were UNDER the posted total of 128.5.

Carl Landry was 9-for-16 from the floor with a game-high 24 points, and David Teague netted 12 points for the Boilermakers.

The Wildcats were upset 69-50 by the Oregon Ducks in the quarterfinal round of the Pacific 10 Conference Tournament. Arizona had been favored by 2-points at the Staples Center, while the final score fell UNDER the posted total of 150.

Jordan Hill shot 7-for-11 from the field and scored 15 points in a losing effort.
