The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Boston College Eagles - hammered by No. 1 seeds Kansas and UNC respectively last weekend - meet in the East Region Thursday at Joel Coliseum in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Oddsmakers currently have the Eagles listed as 3-point favorites versus the Red Raiders, while the game's total is sitting at 136.

Texas Tech were tore apart 66-45 Friday by the Kansas State Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Conference Tournament. The Red Raiders were 2-point underdogs at the Ford Center, while the final score fell UNDER the posted total of 134.

Jarrius Jackson led the Red Raiders with a game-high 28 points from 10-for-23 shooting in the loss.

Boston College shot 34.5% from the floor in Saturday's 71-56 loss to North Carolina in the semifinals of the ACC tournament, falling as 11.5-point road underdogs. The 127 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 150.

Sean Marshall scored the game-high with 23 points, and Jared Dudley added 20 for the Eagles.

Jackson and Dudley are the undisputed leaders for each team.
