The Florida State Seminoles and the North Carolina Tar Heels will both be gunning for a victory on Saturday when they meet at Georgia Dome.
Oddsmakers currently have the Tar Heels listed as 8½-point favorites versus the Seminoles, while the game's total is sitting at 148.
Florida State was outscored in the second half, but managed to come away with a 64-62 victory over Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Friday. Florida State failed to cover the 5.5-point spread, and the game's combined 126 points went UNDER the posted total of 136.
Toney Douglas tossed in 25 points from 11-for-16 shooting, and Solomon Alabi added 14 points in that win.
Tyler Hansbrough dropped a game-high 28 points to help North Carolina pull out a hard-fought 79-76 win over Virginia Tech in the quarterfinals of the ACC Conference Tournament on Friday. North Carolina could not cover the 11-point spread, while the 155 points made it OVER the posted total of 154.
Hansbrough also hauled down rebounds, and Wayne Ellington had 18 points in that victory.
