23 & Libido Dead - Need Help w/ HRT

I'm 23, and my libido has been dying since I was about 14. It got so bad around 19 that I started to buy supplements, use anti-depressants, etc. Finally, at age 21, I found out I had low testosterone. So, I began an HRT regimen with 100mg of T-Cyp per week, plus HCG, and some Arimidex (.25mg/EoD) to control estrogen (which was slightly over the normal range.)

Problem is, none of this works. Now, at 200mg/wk Test Enanthate, I have some semi-hot dreams and I notice females much more, but there's still no desire or action 'down there.'

I've tried Deprenyl, Apomorphine, Cialis, Viagra, and pretty much every herb you could imagine.

So, my question to you is.. what the hell else can I try? How about Dostinex (even though my prolactin is normal?) This problem is ridiculous. I just need some ideas.

How do you know your prolactin levels are normal? Also, how frequent are your injections.

My injections are once a week. I'm not completely sure about the prolactin; I just realized after taking a look at my old labs. I thought my HRT doctor checked it. I have no idea what it is when I'm on HRT. However, my old natural (no HRT) blood tests say:

Total T: 351ng/dL [241-827]
Free T : 10.9pg/mL [9.3-26.5]
Prolactin: 8.9ng/mL [2.1-17.7]

... and on T-Cyp:
Total T: 1101ng/dL [241-827]
Free T: 432pg/mL [34-194]
Estradiol: 54pg/mL [10-50]

Damn Jamie....your Total T (before HRT) is 150% greater than mine was before I got on HRT. Maybe, just for "experimental" data, your doctor can give you 2 (1 cc) shots per week. Say one on Monday a.m. and one later Thursday (p.m.) or early on Friday. The 2 shot regimen is what keeps my levels steadier and more ready to go. Also, maybe switch the Arimidex to Nolvadex. Just 10 mg every other day should be plenty, if you have no sides, gyno, etc..Good luck...

are you on dr. prescribed hrt, or something you are doing on your own. seems like if your doc is in your corner on this whole thing, he would also be the best guy to answer your questions you posted above.. ????

Are you saying that you can not get wood or you just dont want sex???

He probably just doesnt want sex. When I was on deca, I could get it up fine, but I never wanted to have sex or didnt even think about it.

concordsize - It's that I don't want sex. I can actually get it physically working, but it won't stay around easily.

In regards to the doc, I recently ditched them all. I do it on my own now. I gave the last doc over a year (and plenty of my money.) I really don't have the time or money to spend waiting for appointments, responses, and scripts. I'll be 30 by the time they figure me out.

His last bit of advice was to cut down to 75mg/wk. of T-Cyp with .25mg Arimidex and no HCG. This would keep me in the 700-900ng/dl range. I was there with Androgel and it didn't do a thing. I refused to waste a month of my life repeating old experiments.

Thing is, I feel the same at 300ng/dl as I do with 1200ng/dl -- like crap!

Alright, I just FINALLY got information about where my Estrogen level should be, and I am certainly not there. So, I will continue to take Arimidex, and lower teststerone to 75mg/wk, and see what happens.

He's been on Proviron. James, I was gonna mention trying to get your Test more in the middle, but it sounds like you're already heading in that direction. When my Test has been too low, I've felt shitty (lethargic depression) and when it has been too high, I've also felt shitty (agitated/anxious depression).

As far as I can tell, I feel best when it's in the 600's. Still working on it though...

I bet your problem might have something to do with either heavy metal contamination OR parasitic strains of bacteria/yeast in your gut.

i'm not sure how they test for heavy metals (mercury etc.)

but for the second issue, you need to do a stool test.

You are very young to have little or no libido. IF you have been doing steroids, look there for your answer...too much and your sex drive goes through the floor. IF NOT, without height and weight given, difficult to tell you my experiences, BUT: If I were you, I would get myself some Testosterone DEPOT, 200 mg/ml. Depot is a oil suspension base to give slower release of Tes over a period of time. Try 1 ml, every 4 days. If your libido improves, do NOT increase amount. Please be aware that over time, your body will get "Used" to this stuff and you will have to take a break...about 2 weeks every 10-12 weeks, or a 12 week cycle, on 10 weeks and off 2 weeks. The side effects will be ... nipple tenderness and hardness, and your testes will grow smaller over time. There are other steroids to combat these effects, but before going into a regemine, check to see if the above dosage helps. IF it does, you can get prescription from your doctor...you do not have to do this illegally. I have found that the testosterone patches do not work very well.

Yeah, I've done that for a while now, but the sex drive never came back. I've never done steroids. I'm about 6 feet and 165lbs.
