20% BF - Ready for first cycle?

I have some questions, perhaps some of you with more experience on this will be able to help me get the right answers.

My stats:
35yo
5'10
190 #
34w
~20 BF

I have been told that is a must to start your cycle with no more than 15% body fat, because the excess fat will turn Testosterone into Estrogen. But when I browse on forums it seems like people with a lot more BF % are doing fine on their cycle... is the 15% just a baseline?

Would taking extra anti-estrogens help my body not to convert the Testosterone into Estrogen?

I bought Testosterone E, Aromasin and I am ordering Clomid since it was not available when I placed my order.

Why so eager to start? Well, I don't want to be skinny... so I was hoping for a way to build muscle which would, in return, help burn of the extra fat.

Is there any other AAS that I should consider for my first cycle?
How do I run Aromasin and Clomid. PCT only?

I am thinking of splitting the Testosterone E on two shots per week, 250 total per week for a total of 12 weeks.

Any help would be appreciated.

testosterone will aromatize into estrogen, thats what anti aromatizers are for.

however 20% body fat and with your stats you just don't have your training or diet down yet. thats the reason why its foolish to cycle.. however yes a lot of guys do it and it won't kill you but it makes more sense to learn how to ride a bicycle before flying a plane.

Thanks, for the reply.

Ok. Yes, I am at 20% BF. I lost 20 lbs in the last three weeks by a drastic diet change, heavy cardio on a daily basis and some weight training and some Frag 176-191.

I do, now, have my diet down and I refreshed my way around the gym equipment. Although I know my BF was on the high side is mostly because I didn't give a flying fuck until a couple of months ago. I realized though that I want to work for my goals and that is what I am doing now.

I have read quite a bit about AAS but I came here looking for individual advice. It seems like you guys know your game and that's why I am here.

Note, although I am interested on doing a cycle I am not looking to compete or anything like that. Even though I think some of you guys are more interested on a very-low-body fat with high muscles and definition that is not what I am looking for. A more husky look is what I am aiming for, does that make any difference?

According to you, what's the best approach to meet my goals?

Thanks again for your reply

With a bit of perseverance and determination you could get down to 15% in no time. I know 'cuz I did it. Strict diet and assloads of cardio. A few years back I dropped 40lbs in 3 months with nothing but diet and exercise, and I'm the type of person where BF wants to stay on me. It's a constant battle for me. You can do it my friend.

Thanks!

Well, in fact I lose weight quite fast, so long I don't over eat, that WAS my main problem.

I've been doing cardio for the last couple of weeks trying to get my bf low enough to start a cycle, I usually to at least 1 hr on the treadmill ( 15 incline - 3.5 speed ) and it seems to be working for me. Diet is down as well, finally got a hold of it thanks to some cool apps.

Patience is something I am still working on.

Based on the replies, it seems I need to keep doing my diet and cardio for a couple of weeks. (not sure how many pounds I need to lose to get to 15% bf)

I guess I waited long enough to start getting in shape, two more weeks won't kill me.

^^ yeah bro why not get into better shape, then when you juice the results will be much nicer. you juice now and then you will still have to drop the weight anyway to look good.

its easy man.

cut out salts, sugars (all sugars including fruit, breads, dairy, white rice/potatoes, etc) and eat lots of veggies and drink tons of water. you will be g2g in no time.

get your bf down, THEN you can focus on gaining muscle and not worry about fat. its very hard to build muscle and cut lots of fat at the same time, if not impossible at your size. bodybuilders who are already ripped are able to do it cause they leave themselves room for error.. you have little room at 20% , plus with your stats you should be able to put on plenty of muscle naturally

depends on your diet. Look at what mickey rourke did in the wrestler, combo of great high calorie diet, cardio and weights you can actually add muscle and lose fat while on gear, depends on how intense and dedicated you are.

Ok, I guess I will continue my diet and cardio until I hit the 15% or less BF.
I don't think it would take me too long, I do lose weight quite fast when I adhere to the plan.

Maybe then I can post my log and see actual results and better gains without extra sides.
