2 x Richard Marx

FYI Randy Jackson from American Idol

Randy did alot of session bass work for Richard. Unlike the rest of the Idol bozo judges, Randy is a legit musican who has recorded and toured with some big name acts.

Paula Abdul is a great dancer and coreographer, but a singer she is not!!! Take away the studio magic, and she could not carry a tune in a bucket.

Yes he did.

Although it's Nathan East playing bass on "Keep Coming Back". Jonathan Moffett on drums.

However, some of the most intricate bass playing on the first album/CD is by Patrick O'Hearn(formerly with the Frank Zappa Band) on the fretless on "Hold on to the Nights". Too bad they left Patrick a bit too low in the mix for most people to really hear what he is doing.

As for the guitar work-studio ace Michael Landau is all over the first record, along with Bruce Gaitch (Madona colaborator) and a guest appearance by none other than Joe Walsh.
