DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars are not invincible after regulation after all.

The Stars look to bounce back from a tough defeat and extend their points streak Monday when they host the Nashville Predators.

Dallas had its six-game winning streak snapped with Saturday's 4-3 overtime setback to the St. Louis Blues. Marty Turco made 27 saves but could not stop Barret Jackman 2:16 into the extra session.

The Stars lead the NHL with 10 wins after regulation, including four during the recent streak. Eight of those triumphs have come in the shootout, where Dallas is a perfect 8-0.

Dallas needed just 60 minutes to defeat Nashville, 2-1, on Wednesday. Philippe Boucher and Brenden Morrow each scored in the second period and Turco stopped 23 shots to improve to 6-2 with one tie in his career against the Predators.

Nashville has bounced back from that defeat by winning two straight, including Saturday's dominant 6-0 triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks. Scott Hartnell recorded his first career hat trick and Tomas Vokoun made 40 saves for this second shutout of the season.

Vokoun, whose 27 wins trail only Turco for the NHL lead, is just 5-13 with a tie in his career against the Stars.
