SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) - Trying to avoid their first four-game losing streak of the season, the Calgary Flames aim for their first win here in more than five years when they visit the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
The Flames have managed just 15 goals and are 0-6-2 in San Jose since a 1-0 win on January 3, 2001.
Tied atop the Northwest Division with Vancouver, Calgary is coming off a 3-1 loss to the Canucks on Friday. Jarome Iginla's power-play tally was the lone score for the Flames.
Calgary has scored just five goals during its losing streak after notching five scores in a January 29 win over Chicago.
The Sharks are stumbling as well, having lost two straight and five of six.
On Saturday, they were shut out, 2-0, by Anaheim for the second time in 10 days. Evgeni Nabokov made 22 saves, but San Jose dropped to 0-2 on an five-game homestand prior to the Olympic break.
