I have a few questions.

1) my cals looked like this...1)1842, 2) 2126, 3)1815, 4)1926, 5)2025, 6)2067, 7) (cheat meal & alcohol included) 3088..

my question is, should I be fluctuating them more say 1500 one day, 2300 the next?

Is my cheat night ok? (I consumed half a pizza...1300 cals, atleast I got extra thin crust lol)

Thanks

Cheat night is fine. I would fluctuate that cal intake to keep your body thinking. Maybe after the cheat day, do the 1500 day. :) Keep up the good work!

Yea, kinda thought the same, so decided to short change some portion sizes to come in just under 1500 today.

just for info, sample day looks like this for me: (thursday)

meal 1) 1/2cup oats, 1.5scoops of protein powder mixed in with 2 pcks of splenda, 6oz glass of 1%milk

meal 2)2.5 servings of eggbeaters, 2 pieces of whole grain toast (dry), 2 pieces turkey bacon, 1/2 serving reduced fat cheese on eggs. 6oz glass of milk

meal 3) protein shake

meal 4) 6oz round steak, brown rice, greenbeans.

southbeach cookies

totals= 1815 calories, 43 fat, 145.5 carbs, 13.5 fiber, 219 protein.

(right now everyday the ratios are a little different since I am trying to eat a wide variety of foods, and experiment with different recipies...shooting for 200+ protein though)

I plan on dropping the milk (as much as possible cause I am a huge milk fan), and the "southbeach" cookies I occasionally eat as a dessert (they are only 100 cals, low fat, high fiber) in a couple of weeks...kinda going from eating clean, to taking it to the next level.

any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

i don't see a reason to fluctuate the calories...

you need to just make sure you are in a caloric deficit...

fluctuating calories the way he's doing it is good. his body will never "get used" to a set number of cals and he won't plateau.

just don't go crazy and have 1000 extra calories on a day after you eat really low calories. your body will store it as fat.
