1st cycle of only Test Prop, need advice on PCT

My apologies in advance if this question is redundant or belongs in another area.
stats and cycle
6'1"
230 at start of cycle
36 years old
1st cycle
inactive in the gym for last 3 years due to shoulder injury
1cc of test (83mg of test) 6 days a week with sundays off
running for 8-10 weeks
taking on cycle
1000mg of vitex per day no off time
Forma stanzol gel on cycle no off time
200mg of milk thistle no off time
Finpecia- (DHT blocker for hair loss, was on it prior to for baldness) 10 mg per day no off time
2 weeks into cycle and down to 223lbs with good strength gains and starting to become more defined but still have along way to go

My question is what is really needed for a PCT. A co worker who is very knowledgeable is training me, he has won 1st in 2 am comps and took 3rd in a national comp so I trust his opinion but I am seeing alot of contradicting info online. I was told since test prop is short based that unless I see side affects no PCT is really needed but my concern is natural test production post cycle . I had 2 people tell me that since I am using vitex that unless i see gyno not to worry about it, I read about HCG but that really is to gain back testie size if shrinkage occurs and colimd really doesn't trigger natural production. I plan on having my test levels tested in 2 weeks and then again 3 days post cycle.

I think regardless of what worked for my trainer that I still want something to jump start test production post cycle but theres so much info out there and hoping you guys can help give me some solid feedback. I have seen articles on longjack that sounded promising, Thoughts and please let me know if I left out any info that you guys need to see.
 
Thanks Xandoz after reading alot more I am going to take your advice but I am going to add 1500ius of HCG and 3 days after last pin do 3 days of that at 500ius per day then jump on your suggested PCT and continue the forma stanzol gel. It may be overkill according to my dude but I don't care I like my nuts the way they are. I should of had this stuff on hand prior to starting just in case I had to stop unexpectedly.

If anyone else has used vitex on cycle to please share your feelings, I was told 3 to 4 weeks before you notice its affects so I will report back in another week to see if the hype about it is true.

Any tricks to help stop test prop from corking in me so bad, i warm it up and use a heating pad but when in the quads it kills but I had to give my ass a break, lol
 
Nolva clomid? Seriously wtf...

You really need to educate on some of the awesome sups lots of people around here use, unleashed, forma stanzol, test infusion. Methyl eaa from mrsupps looks pretty insane.
 
Thanks Lithium, I was always under the impression that OTC stuff was junk and just all marketing hype but after i looked up HCGenerate and the unleashed/post cycle it seems legit but then again I am no expert hence why im on a forum asking questions. I just emailed the owner of that company with some questions as I saw in another thread he will personally respond with some insight. I am not concern about gyno just restarting my natural test production and regaining any possible shrinkage so that PCT seems on the surface what I need but I will continue the forma stanzol too. I will post the response I get from the owner as well.

my cycle is for 8-10 weeks and im going on almost 3 weeks in it of test prop, inactive in the gym for almost 3 years until a month ago due to getting shot in the shoulder and was taking my rehab very slowly. So if I understand everything correctly which I doubt I do my natty test production shuts down after the first pin. So thats why I wasn't sure about otc PCT after being shutdown for 2+ months. Thoughts?
 
The thought that jumps out is that it's a terrible idea to be using AAS after not having trained for 3 years
 
i hear ya on that and pondered on it for months before making the decision, but at my age my t levels were low to begin with. I diff wouldnt jump in and do anything else besides test prop as a stand alone. And just for clarification I was training but is was rehab and not full blown lifting so I wasn't just sitting on a couch for 3 years drinking beer and smoking then decide to gear up. up until a month and half ago it was all resistance rubberband training and cardio with range of motion exercises. But now that we determined that I should of trained more prior to but its too late what are your thoughts on otc PCT hcgenerate/unleash/post cycle vs colmid/nolva/ hcg ?
