DALLAS (Ticker) -- Although they are one of two teams with fewer than 10 wins this season, the St. Louis Blues are starting to show signs of life.

Rookie goaltender Jason Bacashihua looks for his fourth consecutive road victory Thursday when the Blues meet the Dallas Stars for the second time in four days.

Recalled from Peoria of the American Hockey League on December 12, Bacashihua has a 3-2-0 record with all three wins on the road. His presence in goal has helped St. Louis win three of its last five games.

Bachashihua made 21 saves and Dallas Drake scored his first goal since October 11 to lead the Blues to their ninth victory in 34 games, a 2-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday.

Dallas has dropped three of its last five, including Tuesday's 4-1 defeat to the Detroit Red Wings. Jaroslav Svoboda scored his second goal of the season for the Stars.

Mike Modano has 21 goals and 41 assists in 78 career games and netminder Marty Turco is 5-2-1 with a 1.79 goals-against average against the Blues.

Modano and Stu Barnes scored two goals each and Brenden Morrow added three assists for the Stars in Monday's 6-1 triumph over St. Louis.
