Nashville (23-7-3) at Calgary (21-11-4) 9:00 pm EST
CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators have been firing on all cylinders and are playing their best hockey since opening the season with eight victories.
The Predators look for their sixth consecutive triumph when they continue their five-game road trip with Tuesday's meeting against the Calgary Flames.
Trailing only Detroit for the best record in the Western Conference, Nashville has scored 26 goals during its winning streak and has power-play tallies in 18 of its last 19 contests.
Paul Kariya registered three assists and Steve Sullivan added two as the Predators scored four times in the first period of Friday's 5-4 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Calgary has won five of its last seven contests and is tied with Edmonton for first place in the Northwest Division, one point ahead of Vancouver.
Robyn Regehr and Kristian Huselius scored goals and goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff made 16 saves to lead the Flames to a 2-1 triumph over the Canucks.
Despite playing with an inflamed hip that will keep him out of the Winter Olympics in February, Kiprusoff is 12-3-2 with four shutouts and a 1.60 goals-against average at home this season.
Thomas Vokoun recorded his only shutout of the campaign with 31 saves for Nashville in a 2-0 win over Calgary on November 29.
