Golden Eagles meet Indians in New Orleans Bowl

The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles and Arkansas State Indians meet on Tuesday, December 20 in the New Orleans Bowl.

This year's game has been moved to Cajun Field in Lafayette from its usual home at the Louisiana Superdome due to hurricane damage.

Southern Mississippi opened as a big favorite in this contest, giving 17.5 points on the line. The total opened at 51 points.

Steve Roberts' troops went to North Texas last game and came away with a 31-24 win. Oddsmakers had them as 2.5-point favorites in that one.

Jeff Bower's troops were at home against the Green Wave last game and came away with a 26-7 win. Oddsmakers had them as 19.5-point favorites in that game.
