The newest battle in the annual war between the Midshipmen and Owls kicks off Saturday at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Navy brings a 5-4 overall mark (0-1 in the conference) into this game vs. a Temple team carrying a 0-10 record.

Oddsmakers like the Midshipmen in this one, opening the line at 27.5 in favor of Navy. They are 7-2 ATS this season, while the Owls are 3-7.

After giving up 51 points in a loss against the Cavaliers, Temple fans expect their defence to hold the fort better against the Midshipmen. If not, this one will go into the books as a loss.

Navy, on the other hand, are home to shake off a loss last time out against Notre Dame. They were 22.5-point underdogs and ended up on the wrong end of a 42-21 score.

Temple's ground game hasn't been much to write home about, averaging just 76.6 yards per game on the season, 117th place in the league. They need a better effort from their running backs to be effective in moving the ball and keepi

Some trends to consider:
Temple is 1-4-0 ATS in its last 5 away lined games
Temple is 3-8-0 ATS in its last 11 lined games
Navy is 11-1-0 SU in its last 12 games after scoring 21 to 30 points
Navy is 10-2-0 ATS in its last 12 lined games
Navy is 5-1-0 ATS in its last 6 home lined games

Next up:
Navy at Army, Saturday, December 3
