North Carolina Tar Heels can widen the gap between themselves and Duke in the ACC Saturday with a win over the Blue Devils.

Both teams have a chance to improve their showing within the ACC conference. North Carolina is 4-5 (3-3 in the conference), while the Blue Devils sit at 1-9 (0-7 in the conference).

The Tar Heels are a huge favorite, and face the task of covering the 25.5 points Vegas oddsmakers have given the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils, with a 0-9 ATS mark on the season, look to bite as a big road dog.

After losing last week, Ted Roof's team looks to bounce back with a solid showing on the road Saturday in North Carolina. They were 28 point underdogs in that game.

After squandering a halftime lead last game at home against the Terrapins, the Tar Heels need to find a way to grab a lead and hold onto it this week. The final of that one was 33-30.

The Blue Devils need some production from their passing game. They rank 117th in the league, averaging 116.8 yards per game through the air. The receivers need to make some plays this week.

Some trends to consider:
Duke is 1-7-0 ATS in its last 8 lined games against North Carolina
Duke is 1-4-0 ATS in its last 5 away lined games
North Carolina is 7-1-0 ATS in its last 8 lined games against Duke
North Carolina is 5-2-0 ATS in its last 7 lined games
North Carolina is 6-3-0 ATS in its last 9 home lined games
North Carolina is 4-10-0 SU in its last 14 games after scoring 21 to 30 points
