Improving Cleveland let the Steelers off the hook and need to rebound from that disappointment against a struggling Baltimore team. The Ravens have lost three straight and scored just 28 points in that span. They are also 0-4 ATS of late against the Browns.

Oddsmakers currently have the Browns listed as 3-point favorites versus the Ravens, while the game's total is sitting at 44.

The Browns lost to Pittsburgh 37-28 as a 9.5-point underdog in Week 10. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (47).

Derek Anderson threw for 123 yards with three touchdowns for Cleveland, while Kellen Winslow had five receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens lost to Cincinnati 21-7 as a 3-point favorite in Week 10. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (44.5).

Steve McNair completed 17-of-26 passes for 128 yards with an interception for Baltimore, while Willis McGahee rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

Kyle Boller takes over at quarterback for the Ravens, but his bad numbers (5.3 yards per pass play against teams that would allow 6.6 yppp to an average quarterback) are only slightly better than Steve McNair’s bad numbers and the Ravens are still going to have trouble defending the pass with the injuries to their star cornerbacks Samari Rolle and Chris McAlister. Cleveland’s Derek Anderson has proven that he can throw the ball down the field (7.4 yppp against teams that would allow 5.9 yppp to an average QB) and he’s cut down on his interceptions in recent games. My math model actually favors Cleveland by 7 points in this game after adjusting for the current state of Baltimore’s pass defense, but the Ravens apply to a very good 227-110-9 ATS contrary indicator as well as a 72-33-6 ATS same season revenge angle and a 47-18-1 ATS statistical match-up indicator. The technical analysis favoring Baltimore is more significant than the math favoring the Browns, so I’ll lean with the Ravens plus the points.
