Steve Spurrier doesn't want to talk about his association with the University of Florida.
Everyone else does.
While Spurrier acts as if this is any other game, the man that brought Florida's program into national prominence goes up against his alma mater for the first time on Saturday when South Carolina (6-3, 4-3 SEC) hosts the 12th-ranked Gators (7-2, 5-2).
``It's been three years since I've coached there. This is my team now (at South Carolina),'' Spurrier said. ``It's our team, we are all involved in it. I've been with this group for I guess about a year or so now. I've only had one team at a time and this is my team.''
Despite still having numerous ties to Florida football, including some players, Spurrier has not really addressed the obvious intrigue involved with the five-time SEC coach of the year in his first game against his former school.
