The New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars will both be gunning for a victory when they meet at ALLTEL Stadium on Sunday.

Oddsmakers currently have the Jaguars listed as 7-point favorites versus the Jets, while the game's total is sitting at 37.

The Jets were defeated by Indianapolis 31-28 as an 8-point underdog last week. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (46.5).

Chad Pennington completed 17-of-23 passes for 210 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Justin Miller returned a kick 103 yards for a touchdown.

The Jaguars lost to Washington 36-30 in OT as a 3-point favorite last week. The combined score went well OVER the posted over/under total (34).

Byron Leftwich completed 21-of-35 passes for 289 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Reggie Williams caught five passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

Houston isn't even the Jet's starting RB. They use a running-by-committee backfield...with Houston out it only means more carries for Kevan Barlow (starter) and Leon Washington.
