Rivalry renewed as Canadiens visit Bruins
A storied Original Six rivalry returns to the ice on Wednesday night as the Montreal Canadiens travel to Boston to take on the Bruins.
The Canadiens, who eliminated the Bruins in a hard-fought playoff series back in 2003-04, will be led by sniper Alexei Kovalev and backstopped by goaltender Jose Theodore.
The Bruins will look to the leadership and offensive prowess of captain Joe Thornton and his longtime linemate Glen Murray, as well as young goaltender Andrew Raycroft, last season's Calder Trophy winner as rookie of the year.
The Bruins are favored, opening as 155 chalk, with an opening total of 5.5.
