10/29/06 Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles will both be gunning for a victory when they meet at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
The Jaguars were upset by Houston, 27-7 as an 8-point favorite last week. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (39.5).
Byron Leftwich struggled in the loss, completing only 14-of-28 passes for 125 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Fred Taylor rushed for 84 yards on 16 carries.
The Eagles couldn’t hold on versus Tampa Bay last week in a 23-21 loss. Philadelphia was a 6-point favorite in the game, while the combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (42.5).
Donovan McNabb completed 22-of-35 passes for 302 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Brian Westbrook rushed for 101 yards on 13 carries and caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.
