The Detroit Lions and New York Jets will both be trying to pick up a win on Sunday when they battle at Giants Stadium.


The Lions won their first game of the season, 20-17 over Buffalo as a 1.5-point underdog last week. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (40.5).

Kevin Jones rushed for 127 yards with a touchdown on 23 carries. Roy Williams caught 10 passes for 161 yards with a touchdown.

The Jets flew past Miami 20-17 as a 2.5-point favorite last week. The combined score went just OVER the posted over/under total (36.5).

Chad Pennington passed for 175 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Laveranues Cole caught five passes for 106 yards with two touchdowns.

I've only seen Roy Williams do something in terms of their WR squad. When you list all the talent they've obtained over the last 3 years (Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, Roy Williams, Kevin Jones), you would think Detroit would have a top 5 offense.
